
The band de fruit is a beautiful puff pastry made with a collection of different fruits that are more likely to be in season and a thin layer of pastry cream. The fruit that layer the pastry looks like a delicious edible rainbow. It was really fun arranging the fruit to look presentable. I did a very neat job cutting the rounded edges of the puff pastry which was a huge help cutting it straight out of the freezer.The only problems that I have occurred with was cutting the fruit a little larger than their supposed to be, arranging them to cover more of the pastry cream, and I should have put less of pastry cream on the band de fruit itself. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor and texture because it seemed very moist and chewy.
